Veronika Short is an associate with the firm.  She joined the California State Bar in 2003 after attending the University of San Francisco School of Law.  At USF, she distinguished herself by completing the prestigious Civil Litigation Clinic and graduating in the top third of her class.  Ms. Short is an experienced trial litigator who has tried to verdict over twelve jury and bench trials.  Her current practice focuses on employment law and general civil litigation. She also defends employers in workers’ compensation cases.  Prior to joining TGM, Ms. Short was an associate at a personal injury firm in San Jose, where she represented individuals in matters of varying complexity from inception through discovery, alternative dispute resolution and trial. Veronika is from Russia and received a United States Congressional scholarship to attend high school in the United States.  She went on to study philosophy at Santa Clara University and earned a baccalaureate degree with high honors.  She has been published in the International Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy, STOA, in the area of bioethics and human rights.
